About Wolfhome!
|
| |
Wolfhome was originally created as a virtual land where
werewolves could roam and explore. Get out of your weak human skin and
borrow a wolf's pelt and claws. Explore and chat with other werewolves.
Become a member and be a part of our world!
Wolfhome is a free 2D Graphical Avatar Chat.
This means that, unlike a text-only chat (such as AOL™ or Yahoo
Instant Messenger™ chatrooms), there's a unique visual element here:
you control a small iconic drawing of your character (it's called an
"avatar") on a background scene such as a forest or a meadow. Wolfhome is
great a place to hang out, have fun, meet new people, and "chill" with
your online friends.
On Wolfhome you interact with other online users by chatting and changing
your pose to make your character do different actions or to express your
mood. Your avatar can be any species in the wild canid family or even an
"anthro" (half-human / anthropomorphic) animal, and it can be sleeping,
sitting, walking, pouncing, and much more. Your speech appears in an
on-screen text log as well as in a small speech bubble above your avatar's
head.
Wolfhome is similar in some ways to Second Life, IMVU, The Sims Online, Club Penguin, Microsoft MS Chat,
or many other online chat sites. Unlike many of these other sites, our
chat server uses HTML, JavaScript and Flash to display the chatrooms.
You don't have to download any program or special plugin. You can use
the chat right away from your standard web browser.
