Guide to Using the Wolfhome Room Uploader

There are several Wolfhome Subscription levels that allow the creation of "rooms" (otherwise knows as "locations"). Your private rooms on Wolfhome are your own personal places to go.
Private rooms can be almost anything you wish, although they must not violate our Terms of Use.

 What are the basics for uploading my own private room? |
|
Your private room image can be submitted as a GIF, PNG or JPEG file.The file size must be under 512KB.Any ratio/dimension (height and width) for your image is fine because it will be stretched to fit the available space in the browser. To get the best ratio, we suggest using about 9 x 5 (for example: use a room background picture that is 450 pixels wide and 250 pixels high). |

What type of images am I allowed to use for my private room? |
|
You are able to upload almost anything you wish, but here are some ideas!
Trees, mountains, rivers, etc. (all kinds of outdoor scenes/landscapes)Rooms (from your house, or a castle...any sort of room)Outer space, or perhaps the surface of the moon.Text (like, the words "I Love You" in big letters that you can rest on)
Above are just a few idea's, but there are infinite possibilities for your private room! |

18+? I thought anything was okay in a private room! What isn't allowed? |

The fact is, there are rules even with "private" rooms. With that being said, here are some important rules to keep in mind before uploading your private room. They involve the image you upload to use, as well as the rules within private rooms and what is not acceptable:
No copyrighted artwork, photographs or other intellectual property unless you control the copyright.Explicit Material & Discussions: Pornography, fetish content (e.g., zoophilia, pedophilia, BDSM, inflation), extreme violence/gore, and sexualizing underage characters. This includes explicit depictions of feral porn, NSFW content, and any form of shock sites, images, videos, or literature. Discussions about genitalia, sex life, kinks, fetishes, intimate details, non-consensual flirting, sexting, erotica, and roleplay sex are also prohibited.Derogatory Language: Slurs (racial, homophobic, ableist, transphobic), and harmful or disrespectful language.Non-consensual & Harmful Content: Abuse, animal cruelty, child abuse, self-harm, eating disorders, incest, sexual assault, suicide, and violent themes.Piracy & Fraudulent Websites: Sharing, promoting, or accessing pirated content, including unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material such as movies, music, software, or games. This also includes links to fraudulent websites or any activity related to identity theft, scams, or hacking. |

How do I upload my private room?
|
|
Head over to the map and hover over "Map Links" and click "Dream Isles: Custom Rooms".Click on any of the areas you'd like to have your room located.Double check the rules you see in the uploader to be sure your room meets the standards.Click Custom Rooms at the top left selection.You are now in the room uploader, click "Browse" and select your room once found.Then, in the dropdown menu below it, click which area of the map you'd to have your private room located.Underneath that you must explain/prove how you have permission to upload this image.Once you've done that, click "Submit" and make sure the room loaded successfully.
Your room is now in the Room Reviewer awaiting a decision from anyone on our Art Review Team. Don't worry, it'll go through in a timely manner. Just sit back, enjoy the other rooms on Wolfhome and you will receive a notification once your room has been processed. Please have patience and respect with our Art Review Team, they will get to it as soon as possible. |

What can I do in my new private room? |

Please read our General FAQ and Rules for more information. There are certain rules that apply to private & public rooms and it's important to review and understand both.

There are people in my room that I don't want. What can I do? |
|
In your room, you are technically the boss. You can kick (otherwise known as "chase off") those you don't want, right out of your room! You can even place a ban on them from returning. You can also allow your friends the ability to kick people out, as well. To do this, find your room in the Dream Isles and click the 'Edit' link next to your room. From there you can control who is allowed to enter, or who is denied entry. You may select certain people to be '"room alphas" and so on. |

I want to change my room title, too. How do I do that? |
|
Select the room editor by finding where your room is located in the Dream Isles and clicking on the 'Edit' link for your room. Using the room editor, you can change your room name, indicate your room rating, the amount of members allowed to join your room, set a password for your private room, as well as a description/rules others must follow when entering.

We suggest checking on the Wolfhome Forum, contact a member of the Art Review Team or a member from the Wolfhome Administration Team. They can also assist you and are willing to help with any questions or concerns you may have. But most important of all, please have fun!
